The Blacksburg Master Chorale (BMC) has been performing in the New River and Roanoke Valley areas for more than 30 years. It all started from a local group of musicians and singers deciding to put on a performance of Handel’s Messiah to generate support for the local food pantry at Christmastime. We've grown into a 100-member ensemble over the last 3 decades and we're excited to present a new work in 2022 by our very own Music Director Dr. Dwight Bigler: Mosaic for Earth. We were supposed to premiere this new work at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech in spring 2019, and we're looking forward to 2022 after three years of delays to perform this special work. Mosaic for Earth will be a world premiere!
