At Patch’s Place, every horse holds a story—a journey from hardship to healing, from fear to trust. Now, you have the opportunity to become part of that story and share in their new beginning. Through our Ceremonial Adoption & Sponsorship Program, you can choose to sponsor a specific horse in our sanctuary or allow us to lovingly match you with the one who needs your support most.

A symbolic adoption is more than just providing hay, feed, and medical care- it’s giving love, hope, and healing. Your monthly gift creates a circle of connection, ensuring our rescued draft horses not only have full bellies and safe shelter, but also the opportunity to build trust, deepen their comfort with people, and share their healing presence with others.

When you sponsor a horse at Patch’s Place, you’re doing so much more than keeping one life safe — you’re helping create a ripple of healing that extends from our herd to the people in our community. Every horse here carries a past, and we meet them exactly where they are, giving them the time, patience, and love they need to heal.

If and when they are ready, these horses become partners in our Equine Assisted Coaching programs — offered completely free to the community. From veterans learning how to breathe again, to children rediscovering joy, to families finding peace — our horses make that transformation possible. And because of you, all of it is possible.

Sponsorships at Patch’s Place start at just $10 a month — yes, ten dollars. Why? Because we believe everyone has the power to make a difference. When we come together as a community, even the smallest gifts join to create something extraordinary.
