Iota Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta

The Iota Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is excited to partner with Care Ring for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The chapter aims to raise $10,000 to support the Holiday Stroll and the 2025 Black Maternal Health Conference.

The Holiday Stroll provides an opportunity for families in Care Ring’s Maternal Children Health programs to come together and celebrate the holidays. Children receive a book and a blanket, along with sipping hot cocoa and cookies and taking their picture with Elsa from Frozen and Santa.

During National Black Maternal Health Week, Care Ring hosts The Black Maternal Health Conference, bringing together people from various disciplines to learn about the Black maternal child health crisis and how they can be an advocate for change.

Additionally, sorority members will be collecting items such as diapers, wipes, developmental toys, and other baby items to support the Maternal Child Health programs. Visit Care Ring's Amazon wish list to learn more.
