MKOB & Foster of Love Bike Build Event

More Kids On Bikes is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Foster Love. Based in Brea, California, Foster Love is committed to transforming the lives of foster youth in America. Together, we will bring more bikes, and helmets, to children in our local foster care system.

On August 20th, MKOB will host a Bike-Build Night (Location TBA).

We are forming 10 Bike Builder Teams, led by a Team Captain. Teams consisting of two to three people, will be assigned a bike (12", 16", 20", 24" or 26"). Teams will unpack, assemble, and decorate the bike. Teams are encouraged to help spread the word to help raise money and awareness for this great opportunity! MKOB will bring the ten new bikes and helmets to the the local foster agency (Agency TBA)

Our Level One Goal is to raise $2,000.00 to cover the costs of the first 10 bikes and helmets.

Our Level Two Goal is to raise $4,000.00 so that we may order a second round of bikes and helmets, schedule a second Bike Build Event in November, just in time for the holidays.

MKOB will sponsor the location, pizza, drinks, music and fun!  There will be a donation bin at the event: ***Items to consider: Bike gloves, bike lights, bells, bike bags, spare tubes, small hydration packs etc.
