From May through October, Alfreda’s Cinema will present our 2026 Open Air Film Festival—an ongoing series of outdoor screenings and cultural gatherings rooted in the theme Black Earth, Living Memory.

This season invites audiences to reflect on land, history, and collective memory through Black cinema, bringing people together under open skies to share in stories that ground, nourish, and connect us.
