The goal is to build the best poker hand with 5 cards during the course of one game of bowling. You may only hold 5 cards at any one time. If you pick up a card and are over the 5 card limit, you must discard one card.
If you draw a new card and the new card puts you over the 5 card limit, discard one of the cards in your hand and place it face up next to the deck. Other players can take the top discarded card in lieu of picking up a new card from the deck.
On the 10th frame, you have a chance to bowl multiple strikes or a spare & a strike. If this happens, collect your cards after your 10th frame is complete. Once everyone has bowled the 10th frame in your lane, you will show your cards to the lane “judge” who will record your hand to be compared to all other participating players to determine the winner. There will be one winner per game for 3 games.
Players are disqualified if they do not have 5 cards by the end of the game.
How to Earn Cards
• Bowl a spare, receive one card
• Bowl a strike and receive one card
• Bowl a spare on a split formation, receive 2 cards
• If you bowl 3 or more strikes in a row, receive 2 cards for each strike on the 3rd consecutive strike and for every additional consecutive strike
