Alzheimer's Community Care

Alzheimer’s Community Care is dedicated to promoting and providing community-based, family-centered care for patients and their caregivers living with neurocognitive disorders, through the belief that where there is help, there is hope.

Alzheimer’s Community Care (ACC) was founded in 1996 by a group of Florida residents who were concerned about the growing number of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related neurocognitive disorders. They strongly believed in establishing a community-based
organization for dementia patients and their caregivers that would provide them with an environment explicitly planned for their safety and security, health, and well-being, while preserving their dignity throughout the disease process.

Today, Alzheimer’s Community Care is the largest provider of community-based, dementia-specific services in Florida. The organization has 7 core services, over 80 full-time care and operational professionals serving the organization, and 11 Specialized Alzheimer’s Licensed Day Centers throughout Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties.
