Amy Williams was full of life, pouring her light and energy into everything she did and everyone she met. Amy was a passionate advocate for the Barksdale Boys & Girls Club, where she was honored to serve as a board member. Her greatest joy was teaching the teens of Rockdale County valuable life skills with her characteristic humor and infectious laughter.

Amy was involved with many Boys & Girls Clubs programs, including serving as a Mentor & Judge for our Youth of the Year program, teaching Money Matters classes for teens - a Financial Literacy program, Co-Chairing the Rhythm of Rockdale Fundraising Event, and volunteering at many other Holiday and Special Events.

Amy had boundless energy, tackling everything she did with joy and purpose. As a partner with Antares Group, Inc., tax and business advisory firm located in Conyers, one of Amy’s greatest joys was teaching the teens of Rockdale County valuable life skills with her characteristic humor and infectious laughter.

Amy left our lives much too soon, succumbing to leukemia in February 2020. We have established the Amy Williams Memorial to honor her legacy and to continue the positive impact she made in the lives of the families and board members of Barksdale Boys & Girls Club.
