Andrews Support

In 1996, Andrew first went to Ukraine as a part of a summer mission effort to teach Ukrainian children about Jesus.  That summer, he met Vitya, a six year old orphan, who would change Andrews life forever.  Over the next 8 years, Andrew traveled to Mariupol, Ukraine to visit Vitya and the other children who lived at the orphanage.  Over the years, relationships formed and as the children were nearing 16 and were facing being put out onto the streets, Andrew moved to Mariupol and opened a transitional living center for Vitya and his friends in 2004.  Over the years, the TLC was home to more than 40 kids before it was closed in 2013.

In 2007, Andrew met and married his wife, Jenny.  Together, they moved from Mariupol in the south to the small, remote village of Kolentsi, just north of the capital, Kyiv.  Together, they built a Christian camp, ministered to at-risk children and in 2012, built and opened a Rescue Shelter for kids in crisis in the region that bordered the Chernobyl Nuclear Zone.

In 2021, Andrew, Jenny and their kids moved from Ukraine to Texas and Andrew continues to oversee the ministry of Jeremiah's Hope.  Since the war began, Andrew has led our efforts to fund evacuations, ship 39 containers of humanitarian aid, assist with getting our Rescue Shelter staff and kids relocated to Croatia and much more.

As both founder and director, Andrew continues to lead Jeremiah's Hope as we seek to share the love of Christ with orphans and at-risk individuals in Ukraine.
