Jordan Ladd is a 25 year old young man, with two young boys (Ace 4 yrs old and Hudson 15 months) and his lovely bride Abby. He has always been the primary provider of his household, going above and beyond to provide for his family.

Jordan started experiencing flu-like symptoms in October, 2023. In addition, Jordan lost a lot of weight rapidly. He tried treating his symptoms with over the counter medications in hopes it was just a minor illness. However in November, he could no longer avoid seeking medical attention. Jordan developed an abscess in his mouth. When he went to the hospital, he was treated for the abscess and severe sepsis. He was given IV antibiotics and steroids, and was given medications to take home.

On December 18th, Jordan became violently ill and was rushed to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton. Doctor’s did a CT scan of his lymph nodes, and they discovered what they believed to be lymphoma. He needed a biopsy, but first had to have a blood transfusion, as his hemoglobin was dangerously low. A few days later, he was stable enough to have the biopsy, and was released from the hospital the next day to await results.

On December 26, he had an appointment with his oncologist, and was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer of the soft tissue, lymph nodes, and mucous membranes. Jordan is scheduled to have a port inserted so that he can begin chemo treatments.

Jordan and his family are having to move to lower their living expenses. They are moving into a family-owned mobile home that has been vacant for years. There are many repairs needed to make the mobile home safe and livable. Additionally, Jordan does not have health insurance to help with his medical expenses. Therefore, Jordan and his family are in immediate need for repairs needed to the mobile home, basic living expenses, medical & transportation costs to and from medical treatments and is being told he will be looking at a minimum of 18 months of not being able to work.
