Animals are in need and you can do something to help us help them!

There are thousands of homeless dogs and cats in Nicaragua and hundreds in the San Juan del Sur area. The first step to bring help to them was establishing a veterinary clinic. But it just became more apparent how many healthy animals need a place to stay! Especially puppies and kittens end up in the trash on a regular basis and need a save place to begin their life. There is no space in the clinic and too little foster homes to take care of all the animals.

That's where our Animal Shelter comes in. We want to build a little shelter structure, mainly for puppies and kittens, where they can be safe and healthy until they find their forever home with a loving family.

Our goals are in order:

1. Find and buy a piece of land away from other homes in the San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, area suited for our project. (ACHIEVED!)

2. Prepare the land by clearing it and establishing water and electricity. (CLEARS YES, everything else is coming along)

3. Break ground for the shelter building.

4. House puppies and kittens that need a temporary home.

5. Employ volunteers or locals who can help with the daily runnings.
