Appalachia

After experiencing the IHS summer Appalachia trip as students, a small group of alumni return each year to work alongside current students and teachers. Together, we help build homes and bring hope to communities still recovering from the collapse of the coal mining industry.
Returning as young adults, we have a deeper appreciation for the mission and feel called to give back, helping guide students through this powerful experience.

We're currently fundraising to cover our travel, food, and housing costs for the one-week mission this June.
