Double Martini Productions is excited to continue our live-model drawing event series: "An Afternoon of Costumed Art" in Historic Downtown Hillsborough. Join Troupe members at Snow Approach Foundation (SAP)(129 E. King Street, 27278), for an afternoon of Vaudeville.Burlesque.VintagePinUp-themed art models. Artists provide their own supplies. This event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. All skill levels are invited to come relax with us and enjoy an afternoon with a variety of models in interesting, dimensional, texture-filled costumes with exciting accessories. SAP offers a very cozy, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. We will watch the clock, so you can keep your focus on your drawing. This is not a teaching class, but an opportunity for you to use and expand your skills and talents in a very welcoming atmosphere. The session will be timed in the following segments (short breaks will be scheduled throughout the event): 2 minute warm-up pose/draw all three models 2 minute warm-up pose/draw 5 minute warm-up pose/draw all three models 5 minute warm-up pose/draw 10 minute pose/draw model 1 10 minute pose/draw model 2 10 minute pose/draw model 3 Finishing the session with a 20 minute pose/draw that includes all three models. Please, bring your own supplies, in your preferred medium and set up at any of the numerous seating areas, or bring your own easel. Doors open for this event at 11am, with the first pose at 11:30am. Several short breaks will be scheduled, and a longer break will be offered before the final twenty minute segment. Pre-registration is *very much appreciated*!
