Lana is the brightest sweetest silliest girl. She absolutely adores her big brother and smiles at him any chance she gets. She loves to swim, play in the sand and loves music. She is so strong, smart and brave! We are so proud of her.
Why is PWS | SYS research important to you and your family?
It is so important to our family because we want our daughter to be able to live a happy, healthy and full life. And also able to have the same opportunities anyone else has in their lifetime.
We aren’t just wishing and waiting for treatments, and a cure for PWS, we are aggressively doing something about it. FPWR bridges gaps, encourages collaborations, and funds the most promising research in the world with the aim of developing treatments, and an eventual cure, for our loved ones with PWS.
In our effort to find treatments for Lana, we are participating in FPWR’s 2022 Artist of the Year Competition. The artist who raises the most funds for research between August 1st and September 30th will be named the Artist of the Year and featured on FPWR’s 2022 annual report!
