Did you know that 200,000 children in Metro Atlanta are food insecure? 

That means they don’t always have enough food to eat. Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta's Weekend Feeding Program is dedicated to making a difference. Each week, Backpack Buddies provides nutritious food bags to 2,600 children on Fridays, helping keep them nourished over the weekends when school meals aren’t available.

Their goal is simple: to reduce the symptoms of chronic hunger and ensure that every child has the fuel they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
