Asifa's OS faculty, classmates, alumni, and friends:
Thank you all for EVERTHING you have done for Asifa at Oldfields and beyond.
Your friendship and support you showed her shall forever be cherished by Adil, me, and our families, as well as our late parents.
Over the years since Asifa’s entry to OS in 1979, we visited Glencoe and the campus now and then from the Washington DMV region. From the outset, we were struck by the beauty and serenity of OS and its surroundings and, importantly, by the compassion you all expressed for Asifa as one of the OS family and for her education.
We appreciate too the outpouring of your support throughout this year as Asifa’s health declined and, especially since June when her health deteriorated rapidly.
Despite your own important responsibilities at OS and in your personal lives, many of you either visited Asifa at her condo in Rockville, MD or, during her last month, at the assisted living/hospice facility near Olney, MD. On top, you mailed her a steady stream of beautiful, colorful, cheery cards and photos. Asifa recognized all even while she was weak. And they made her smile…
