Help Us Cover Aspen’s Unexpected Boarding & Training Costs

Goal: $2,500

Aspen, our beautiful white German Shepherd, recently needed a temporary place to stay while her foster family was out of town. We weren’t sure how she’d do in a standard boarding environment, so we reached out to one of our trusted training partners to see if they had space and could also do a behavior evaluation. As always, they were ready to help.

When Aspen first arrived, she came in a little hot...not quite in the mood to make new friends. But after she settled in, she showed her true colors. She was friendly, sweet, independent, and more than happy to take treats and interact. Because she was doing so well, we asked the trainers to keep her a bit longer so a few of our board members could meet her and so we could plan some transitional training for her foster family.

Then life did what life does: schedules shifted, timing got complicated, and what was supposed to be a short stay turned into nearly two months of boarding and training for Aspen.

We’re incredibly grateful she had a safe, structured place to land, and the progress she made there has been wonderful. But this was a completely unexpected expense, especially on top of Paxton’s ongoing boarding fees.

To help cover Aspen’s extended stay and training, we’re hoping to raise $2,500.
