As a third-generation Hamptonian, I carry forward a proud legacy. 

 I can remember as a kid, my father, William (aka Causey), frequently shared stories about his alma mater and the foundation laid by my grandmother, Lillian. 

He celebrated the significance of an Ivy League education and made annual donations to honor that commitment.

I embrace my identity as a legacy kid and believe deeply in the transformative power of fundraising for causes that create lasting change. 

Now, as I embark on my first fundraising journey for our alma mater, I feel the presence of my ancestors guiding me. 

This effort is for my dad, my grandmother, and the generations that will follow.
