Story
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is America's oldest, largest, and most prominent civil rights organization. The NAACP works to achieve equal access to political and economic power through equal access to jobs and business opportunities, development of job skills, career growth and advancement, equal access to quality teachers, schools, and educational material for minority children, and equal access to decent, affordable housing and equal treatment and protection from law enforcement agencies.
This year's theme is "This is Power: Respect it. Claim it. Vote." which is aimed at educating the importance of voting, mobilizing for change, fighting for equality, and helping others. In 2022, the struggle for equality for all continues. The Auburn/Cayuga County NAACP can only thrive with business partners, such as you, who know how necessary this work is to our community - economic development, education, health, and political engagement. This year, more than ever, we are asking for your continued support by becoming a lead sponsor and selecting one of our Corporate Sponsorship Benefits, Journal Advertisement Levels, purchasing tickets to the Gala, or donating.
On November 4, the Auburn/Cayuga County NAACP is celebrating its 55th Annual Freedom Fund Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn, Auburn, NY. This historic evening will feature a keynote speaker, community awards and recognition, and the Harriet Tubman Freedom Fighter Award to individuals who embody our Association's goals through their commitment and dedication to the community.
On behalf of the Auburn/Cayuga County NAACP, we ask for your continued support.
