Austin Take A Chance Organization (ATACO) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to supporting displaced and vulnerable LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Every day, people in our community are facing hunger, homelessness, and hardship. ATACO meets them where they are — with survival packs, warm meals, and direct connections to affirming local resources. Our mission is simple but powerful: restore dignity, offer second chances, and spark hope.
