Austin Take A Chance Organization (ATACO) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to supporting displaced and vulnerable LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Every day, people in our community are facing hunger, homelessness, and hardship. ATACO meets them where they are — with survival packs, warm meals, and direct connections to affirming local resources. Our mission is simple but powerful: restore dignity, offer second chances, and spark hope.

Your donation helps us:

Provide survival packs filled with essentials
Share meals with those going hungry
Connect individuals to LGBTQIA+ affirming shelters, clinics, and support services
Create safe spaces where people are seen, heard, and valued

Together, we can transform moments of survival into stepping stones toward healing, stability, and self-worth.

Join us in giving Austin’s displaced LGBTQIA+ community one second chance at a time.
