Hurricane Helen ripped through our Appalachia. WNC will mourn, unpack, clean, and rebuild for years to come.

Among the beauty of these mountains, this area is a homestead for artists. A landmark of artistry, small business, and individuals who have dedicated their lives to alchemizing the talent of our hands. The ageless craft we gather from across the country to see.

Circlebackstudios holds a year-round mission project called ✨Beyond The Marks ✨ an all-for one, one for all, donation based exchange for artists in need. 100% of donations will be given to the selected artists.

This round, we've decided to credit this collection’s funds to the small business, Asheville Fine Art Printing. Our goal in this selection was to identify a key player who has the capacity to impact the most artists during this horrific time. As you have seen from the media, many artists have lost their life's work.

Asheville Fine Art Printing is more than just your average print shop. They are an oasis for artists across Western North Carolina. From archival prints to professional grade photos, these guys are THE printer of the mountains. We called this shop directly to hear status and we couldn’t be more thrilled to support them. Thankfully, they are safe!

They are here to help get artists back on their feet! The work they do, not only helps artists live their dreams, but allows the to art live even longer.

As an example of how important this shop is to the area: Right before the hurricane, they happened to take photographs of original works that have since been destroyed. Meaning digitally, they contain an archive of artwork that no longer exists. Many artists will be relying on prints as they rebuild and this shop will be ready for them. An effort to get our artists back on their feet. As we get closer to the holiday season, I encourage everyone to purchase through small businesses.

Understanding this is a difficult economic season for us all, sharing, liking and commenting on posts, directly help as well. Please look out for shared posts of WNC artists selling their remaining inventory.

Each donor will receive a hand-painted, wood bookmark that were made in collective batches, randomly selected. Your bookmark buddy is someone across the country! ( we are happy to supply multiple bookmarks per donation, just ask in your comment! )
