This is my childhood best friend, Rosa. She is a beautiful and kind human that deserves nothing but the world! She is a loving wife and mother of 2 gorgeous girls, in which one just became a mother herself. Rosa was blessed to become a grandmother for the very first time, enjoying all that comes with that!

Imagine becoming a grandparent for the very first time, the joy you feel! Now imagine experiencing a new chapter of life starting your journey as a grandparent, and within months being told that might be cut short because you have cancer! Now imagine you are told there is no cure as of now, only ways to give you more time to be that mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and the friend that you are to so many!

Well my beautiful best friend Rosa doesn’t have to imagine, this is her reality.

Recently Rosa bas been diagnosed with Metastic Adenocarcinoma upper gastrointestinal cancer and pancreatic, it is non operable and has started to spread through her organs. Within minutes of being told this her life changed! The gut wrenching feeling she had to endure when having to tell her beautiful daughters, husband and family. The horrors of her having to leave her job, after she has dedicated 27 years of her life to so many children and their families. She loved bringing joy into their world, giving parents peace of mind knowing their babies were in the best care possible. Now finding herself preparing to start chemotherapy, in hopes to shrink the tumor so she has more time on this earth to spend with each one of us! While climbing this uphill battle she now faces a financial burden that is starting to follow while her loving husband is left as the sole provider. With the weight of the medical bills beginning to pile up and more in sight he won’t give up because he knows how crucial it is that they get through this to ensure she can get the life saving treatments that she needs!

This is where we can help! She needs each and everyone of us to come together and be her soldier just like she has been to so many!
