Please Join Us In Our Effort to Prevent Child Abuse in Tift County

April is national Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness month. The Tift County Council on Child Abuse works to promote Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness on the local level.  The council is comprised of volunteers who work diligently throughout the year on prevention and awareness in Tift County. 

April is our opportunity to involve everyone in this effort and to bring awareness to the community that there are children who need our help.  We all need to do what we can to make a difference for the children of Tift County.

The Blue Ribbon Campaign—combining fundraising and awareness--encourages citizens, businesses, and organizations concerned about child abuse and neglect to purchase and display a blue ribbon The blue ribbon serves as a constant reminder to fight for protection for our children. We must protect our most precious gift of all…our children. Please wear a blue ribbon…put one on your car…give one to your friends…tell them what it means…you may save a child’s life!”
