This time of year can be busy. With the holiday season in full swing, we at the HSPVA Black Alumni Network are feeling especially grateful for a wonderful year. In 2021, some of our accomplishments included:

• Awarding 6 students with scholarships for college and summer intensives.

• Finalizing our recognition as a Domestic Non-Profit Corporation and becoming HSPVA Black Alumni Network, Inc. 
• "Close Up: An Up-Close and Personal Look at HSPVA's Gems" documentary collaboration with Diversify Our Narrative H.I.S.D.

Our purpose is to connect Black alumni of HSPVA, support alumni and current students’ endeavors, and provide resources, scholarships, and networking opportunities to champion the next generation of HSPVA artists and professionals. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us as we continue the important work we started in 2018, and look towards an even greater 2022.
