As much as the grit, commitment, love, and hard work is innate in the people of Davis Magnet School, we can’t do it without the financial support of the families. Making a donation to the Foundation is a tax-deductible way you can help make sure your child has access to the best learning resources and keeps Davis the amazing school it is.

What is Big Bucks For Ducks?

It is one of two primary fundraisers that you can donate to that is supported by the Davis Magnet School Education Foundation. At the beginning of every school year, we ask each family to make a donation to the Big Bucks for Ducks fundraiser. All funds raised go directly to the school and are used to support the needs of the students, teachers, and staff.

How much do I need to donate to the Foundation?

A donation of $200 per student will help us to meet this year’s goal of raising $120,000. We ask that you think about what your best gift is and contribute what you can. Maybe it’s more than $200/student, maybe it’s less, but every donation helps. Donations can be made in one lump sum or divided into smaller amounts paid on a monthly basis to spread out the cost.

We also accept donations from company matching programs and encourage you to send a link to this page to friends, family, and neighbors who are interested in supporting your child’s education and helping us to meet our goal. Remember, all donations are tax-deductible!!

BBFD Grade Level Competition Rules: TO DONATE TO MULTIPLE GRADE LEVELS YOU MUST SUBMIT SEPARATE DONATION FORMS! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ACCURATELY RECORD DONATIONS TO THE SPECIFIC GRADE LEVELS.

All donations for the competition must be made by 11:59pm , September 20, 2024. However, we do gladly accept donations all year long.
All donations may not be reflected on the BBFD website, such as cash or check donations. These donations will be tracked and account for.
Monthly recurring donations are fantastic. However, only the donations made by 11:59pm Sept 20, 2024 will count towards the competition.
We love corporate matching! For the grade level competition, any matching amounts will only count towards the competition if the check is in our possession or the bank transfer has already posted in the foundation bank account by 11:59pm September 20, 2024. Grants also count towards the competition.
All grade levels, including preschool, are included.
The grade level with the highest amount fundraised by Sept 20, 2024 will be the overall winner.
Any grade may win prizes if their grade level total reaches any of the prize levels. Prizes are cumulative. For example, any grade achieving $10,000 in donations will win the $10k prize and all the prizes below it. If they are the top fundraising grade, they would also win the pizza party and prize money.
If there is a tie for the winner, all winning grades will receive the movie party and the prize money will be split evenly.
