As demand has grown, we’ve taken a responsible pause to strengthen our internal systems and build the foundations we need to serve more people in 2026.

This includes creating a DOPL-verified Clinician Referral Network — a streamlined, mission-aligned system to match clients with the right therapist quickly, safely, and thoughtfully.

This May, we’re proud to launch Be Better Utah’s annual fund drive, kicking off in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Our goal: raise $150,000 by May 1, 2026 to help 100 individuals and families access the mental health care they otherwise couldn’t afford.

Your support fuels therapy sessions, lifts financial barriers, and brings real healing to our community — not just during May, but every month of the year. Together, we can make sure no one walks the path to better mental health alone.

Every $125 funds a full therapy session through the Be Better Utah Foundation’s Client Access Fund. With your support, we can reduce waitlists, increase access to qualified providers, and walk alongside individuals on their path to healing.

🎉 Thank You for Joining Us at the May 31 Fund Drive Kickoff!

On May 31, 2025, our community came together at The SunTrapp in downtown Salt Lake City to officially kick off Be Better Utah’s year-long Mental Health Awareness Fundraiser Campaign — and we’re still feeling the love.

The evening was filled with connection, creativity, and healing-centered fun. From music and games to reflective moments and a joyful hula hoop session led by the incredible Lisa (@lisalouhoops), the event brought together people who believe in building a stronger Utah.
