2024 Black Breastfeeding Week

For far too long, Black mothers have not been given the tools, resources, and support needed to help them breastfeed their infants. Vital Village Network’s Black Breastfeeding Week Committee is seeking sponsorship and/or in-kind donations to support our 2024 Black Breastfeeding Week events.

All these events are educational events that aim to reduce racial inequities in breastfeeding. Your support ensures cost-free access to Black Breastfeeding Week events for community members and provides materials to connect families to resources and opportunities.

This year's Black Breastfeeding Week events will bring together local businesses and community members who are seeking information and opportunities to support the optimal health and development of their children and communities. We are dedicated to ending racial inequities in breastfeeding while also encouraging diversity in the lactation field.
