The Boyertown Community Library is a thriving, welcoming space where friends can gather, engage, and discover! It is a busy hub of activity with programs such as children’s story times, homeschool STEM events, Teen Advisory Council, summer reading, yoga, book clubs, and painting classes. The library is a place where people visit to use public computers, read daily newspapers, and use study rooms.
Our library offers more than just books! We have DVDs, audiobooks, board games, video games, museum passes, and magazines. Plus the Library of Things gives you access to items like tools, yard signs, and small appliances.
As you can see our library is more than just a building, but we need a sound structure to deliver the programs and resources that our community deserves. This past year we have faced unexpected expenses. We had water leaks by our stain glass windows and heating and sewer issues that had to be repaired. A major problem was discovered on our second floor, and we are so grateful that the community rallied behind us. We were able to make the needed repairs so that our programs could continue.
The library building is over 100 years old and requires ongoing upkeep. With your help, we can ensure that our facility is maintained so we can focus on expanding the services we provide to you. We are thankful for your support!
Sincerely,
Sami Jo Trout, BCL Director
