BCNC empowers Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities through innovative programs and services. Asian and new immigrants have been critically impacted by the pandemic. Many immigrants have become unemployed, parents have been experiencing high levels of stress while trying to support their children’s education, and families are afraid of anti-Asian sentiment.

Janet Wu is an Anchor/Reporter for Bloomberg News.
She is a founding member of SheGives, a philanthropic fund created by women. She is an Overseer for the New England Conservatory of Music and Franciscan Children's Hospital. Janet also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Max Warburg Courage Curriculum and Board of Ambassadors for Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC).
She was named the 2015 New England Girl Scouts "Leading Woman of the Year."
She graduated from Yale University with a dual major in Philosophy and Psychology and earned a master's degree in Journalism and International Affairs at Columbia University.
