Story

BCNC is pleased to invite you to join us at our virtual 2021 Lantern Festival Gala: Creating Pathways to Brighter Futures, an engaging evening of inspiration. You can support Asians and new immigrants by becoming a sponsor, purchasing a ticket to the program, or making a donation.

BCNC empowers Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities through innovative programs and services. Asian and new immigrants have been critically impacted by the pandemic. Many immigrants have become unemployed, parents have been experiencing high levels of stress while trying to support their children’s education, and families are afraid of anti-Asian sentiment.

During these challenging times, your support is needed more than ever to help Asian and new immigrant children, youth, and adults thrive.

Your support will:

  • help youth from low-income families go to college,
  • assist adult students in learning English and getting jobs,
  • provide high-quality, in-person childcare for preschool and school-age children, and
  • help immigrant families deal with health challenges and building their lives in the US.

Location: Online. Event link to be emailed closer to date.

5:30 pm Reception: Network with friends and engage with exclusive performances and interactive demonstrations.

6:00 pm Program: Learn about how Asians and new immigrants have been impacted by the pandemic, hear inspiring participant stories, and experience premier artistic performances from Chinatown locations.
