2025 Beacon of Hope Fundraiser

A lighthouse is a metaphor that represents a beacon of hope as it guides the way for vessels at sea. In any kind of toxic relationship, it’s critical for you to find these amazing non-judgmental people who will listen and express empathy for what you’re enduring and shine a light on the path to healing.

Every year at the holiday season The Center for Hope, WNY shines a light on survivors of narcissistic abuse. According to statistics, intimate partner abuse increases over the holidays, for a few possible reasons:

  • Stress from holiday shopping, finances, and planning can aggravate volatile personalities.
  • Abusers are more likely to partake in alcohol or drugs when they don’t have to work.
  • Simple opportunity: abusers are more likely to be home alone with their victims than at other times of the year.

Donate today to help us raise $2,500 to fund scholarships for people to attend our 6-session Narcissistic Abuse Education and Recovery workshop series. Your one-time donation of $25.00 is a gift toward a survivor being able to participate in our workshop. Ongoing support is vital for us to continue to offer this group at low- or no-cost. Please consider a small monthly donation. Any contribution can make a significant difference in a survivor’s life.

Quotes from actual participants:

“This is without a doubt one of the best investments I have made in myself. I made it a priority to attend every meeting because the skills being taught are so crucial. Being with women in similar situations gave me increased confidence that I wasn’t being crazy, too sensitive or deserving of this (abuse). We all shared similar feelings that was so validating.”

“I am truly honored that I was able to participate thanks to the financial assistance I received. I am not the same person who started this course. I am already feeling more confident and more educated to make the changes I need to make. Thank you!”

“I thought (the group) was excellent. I only wish it could have kept going for a few more weeks.”

“Jessica, (the group facilitator), is phenomenal. She is the first person who has understood this dynamic and is helping me see past the fog and confusion.”
