I'm participating in this important fundraiser because it is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My brave and strong mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She made the decision to use medical aid in dying because she was always a strong supporter of death with dignity. I am so grateful that she had that choice and had so much kind support to see her through.
