Our goal this year is to raise $250,000, which is the bare minimum to fund our programs.

The suggested donation is $500 per student per year. However, we ask that you contribute an amount that feels right for your family and situation, whether that is less or more. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a significant impact and is deeply appreciated.

"Public education is supposed to be free - why should I donate?"

The essentials for a quality public education are free, but many of the support and enrichment programs that make Franklin special are not.

Your tax-deductible donation to the BFEF (an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit) funds evidence-based programs that support the needs of our students and school:

IN-CLASS AIDES - Interns & language assistants (16 additional dual-immersion aides!)
CLEAN AIR - Air filters for purifiers in all classrooms and indoor common areas
TEACHER SUPPORT - Teacher supplies and professional development programs
LIBRARY SUPPORT - Library books in all five languages and library supplies
TUTORING - Dual-immersion tutoring for students who need additional support
ENRICHMENT - Enrichment programs, art supplies and workshops for all students
GREEN CAMPUS - Green Team maintenance and improvement of our green spaces
LEARNING GARDEN - Maintenance & classes in our Sprouts Learning Garden
CAMPUS UPGRADES - Facility upgrades (Kinder shade in 2023, walking path in 2024)
ENRICHMENT EVENTS - Community events like the BFEF Earth Fest and Film Fest (note: BFEF events are becoming self-sustaining in an effort to preserve program funds.)

Our goal is $250,000, but exceeding it will allow us to support even more programs and opportunities, such as these ideas listed below. Please give as much as you can!
