They are dealing with systemic barriers and immediate needs, such as poverty and hunger, in their communities every day. They are constantly exposed to pressures from social media. They are reporting increases in anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.

Now more than ever, it’s the simple things that mean the world to kids — a trusted adult to say, “I believe in you,” three dependable meals a day, a safe place to go after school and in the summertime. Your support of children who depend on the Boys & Girls Club of Meriden helps ignite opportunities for children to reach their full potential. $25 provides art supplies for 2 children
$50 provides a week of afterschool programming to a child
$75 provides a child with access to participate in a recreational team program
$100 helps buy new supplies for STEAM enrichment
$185 provides a child with one week of summer fun at Cuno Camp or Camp BGC

Over 1,200 kids had a safe place to go after school and during the summer to receive meals, homework help and life-changing experiences last year.
