Over the Rainbow Social Club is a community-based nonprofit serving LGBTQ+ older adults, seniors, friends, caregivers, and allies throughout Salem and the North Shore of Massachusetts. Many of our members have spent a lifetime creating space for others—now we create space for them.

We host monthly dinners, social gatherings, community celebrations, resource-sharing events, and opportunities for meaningful connection. For some of our members, these events are the only moments all month when they can enjoy companionship, warmth, and a true sense of belonging. Participants also have an opportunity to meet new people and attend social events as well as help with resources.

• Monthly dinners for LGBTQ+ seniors on fixed incomes

• Accessibility support for members who would otherwise be isolated

• Community-building events that bring joy, friendship, and intergenerational connection

• Outreach and programming that ensure no LGBTQ+ elders, caregivers, and allies feels forgotten or alone
