Bella Hampton 2026 Circle of Care
2026 is going to be the best year yet for Bella Hampton Farm Foundation.
As we enter our third year as a nonprofit (founded in 2023), I’ve been taking time to reflect — not just on how far we’ve come, but on what it truly takes to run a rescue that cares deeply and does things right.
This work has taught me more than I ever imagined.
We’ve grown in knowledge.
We’ve grown in responsibility.
And we’ve grown in impact.
In 2025 alone, because of supporters like you, we were able to:
• Help injured community dogs and cats when their humans had nowhere else to turn
• Assist with emergency vet care, spay/neuter support, and lifesaving treatments
• Provide food and daily care for dogs, cats, and livestock
• Hire help on the farm so animals receive consistent care while I focus on adoptions, fundraising, and partnerships
We are incredibly grateful for partnerships like Freshpet, who helps supplement dog food, and for our hay sponsors, who have reduced major livestock expenses.
Those partnerships matter — and so do you.
But here’s the honest truth:
Rescue doesn’t stop when a campaign ends.
Bills don’t pause.
Animals don’t wait.
Every single month we are responsible for:
• Kibble and Freshpet supplementation
• Grain and feed for livestock
• Water, electricity, trash, and facility upkeep
• Vet bills — planned and unexpected
• Maintaining and repairing our 1,600 sq ft dog barn with 14 kennels
• Expanding safe outdoor runs so dogs can play, decompress, and thrive
• Paying part-time farm helpers so animals are cared for daily, not just when we’re able
Right now, the hardest part isn’t the work.
It’s the uncertainty.
Waking up not knowing exactly how much will be in the account makes planning — and peace — incredibly difficult. Cesar’s paycheck has been stretched farther than it ever should have been, and while fundraising keeps us afloat, monthly support is what allows a rescue to breathe.
Here’s why monthly giving matters so much:
If 100 people give $25/month, that’s $2,500 we can plan around.
If 100 people give $50/month, that’s $5,000 that feeds animals, pays bills, and funds care.
That consistency means:
• Vet bills don’t cause panic
• Food orders don’t get delayed
• Repairs don’t sit unfinished for years
• We can responsibly reopen intake and help more animals
• We can focus on getting dogs adopted instead of just surviving
Your monthly gift isn’t “just a donation.”
It’s a share of the weight.
It’s a seat at the table of this mission.
It’s you saying: I’ll help carry this with you.
If you’re already giving monthly — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly.
If you’re able to increase even a little, it makes a real difference.
And if you’ve never joined as a monthly donor, I invite you to Join our Journey.
There is no amount too small — but please know that $25, $50, or $100/month is transformative for a small rescue like ours.
And if you’d ever like to come visit the farm, take a tour, or volunteer on expansion projects — we would love to welcome you. Rescue life is beautiful, but it’s also hard, emotional, and relentless. Experiencing it firsthand changes everything.
We are not desperate.
We are determined.
And we are building something that lasts.
Thank you for believing in Bella Hampton Farm Foundation.
Thank you for believing in second chances.
Thank you for helping us make 2026 a year of stability, growth, and more lives saved.
With gratitude,
