When you purchase a $20 ticket you help support CAPA's academic and arts programs. If you want to increase your support, ask Mrs. Lane for tickets to sell. Donations can be made via the QR code or send a check to the school. Details are on the tickets. Any unsold tickets become the property of FOC. PLEASE NOTE! Friends of CAPA (a registered 501c3) provides financial support to the arts and academic departments at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12. This support promotes enrichment, activities, and supplies that cannot be drawn from the school budget funds alone. We support initiatives like The Celebration of Black Dance at Pittsburgh CAPA, Piano Concert Workshop with the Pittsburgh Music Academy, field trips to the Young Playwright’s Festival at The City Theater and more.

Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 is a Creative and Performing Arts Magnet school located in the heart of Pittsburgh's downtown cultural district. Our CAPA artists and their teachers have many exciting plans for the coming year, and we want to help them achieve these goals. Your gift will truly make a difference, behind the scenes and in the spotlight!

The mission of Friends of CAPA (FOC) is to support every student with the provisions needed to excel in the school's superior quality arts education and academic experience. We encourage excellence and success in their personal development as artists and cultural leaders. FOC works arduously to secure funding, resources, and materials needed to support our students, teachers, staff, and facilities. Students receive intensive artistic instruction in one of eight art forms: dance, instrumental music, literary arts, piano, production technology, theater, visual arts and vocal music.
