Black Legacy in the Arts (BLA)

Black Legacy in the Arts (BLA) - The principal activity of the Committee is the advocacy and support of current HSPVA students of color in their academic and professional development and enrichment, as they build upon the rich performing and visual arts legacy of their predecessors. The committee promotes inclusiveness and diversity, as well as recognition and respect for the contributions of Blacks to the performing and visual arts. All funds raised will be used to provide scholarships and professional development support for minority students.
