I’m running for Marisa’a Mission because my family and I know first hand the physical, psychological and financial burdens caused by cancer. Cancer brings life to a screeching halt. It doesn’t care if your young or old, rich or not, have kids or not, have health insurance or not. It intrudes and disrupts your life and keeps intruding and keeps disrupting. Beth was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2013. Our life, with our 16 month old son, was turned upside down with treatments starting just a week after diagnosis. Life would never be the same. Treatments went on for 15 months, bills were piling up and life was crazy, scary and the future was uncertain. Marisa’s Mission supports families affected by cancer. They are a ray of light in the seemingly endless darkness that is cancer. Marisa’s Mission changes lives! Please help me help families that can use a ray of light. Thank you John Pyliotis
