Help Us Provide 25 Thanksgiving Turkeys

This Thanksgiving, BeMoreCaring is providing full holiday meals for the men and women living in Recovery homes. Many of our friends can’t return home right now due to their recovery journey — so we bring the holiday meal to them. A warm meal and a full table remind them they are seen, valued, and not alone.

This morning, I stopped at Giant to get us started. Turkeys are just $0.27/lb, and I was able to purchase 101 pounds of turkey for exactly $27. Only God could stretch food like that! There is a two‑turkey limit, but with the manager’s help and your support, we are working to gather 25 turkeys to bless every recovery house we serve.

Your donation today will help us purchase the turkeys needed for Thanksgiving. And if we are blessed with more than we need, we will use the extras to prepare for Christmas meals, which we also provide each year.

In the next few days, we will also begin collecting the side items for full Thanksgiving meal kits — stuffing, vegetables, rolls, desserts, and more. Your donation helps us fill in the gaps and make sure every house receives a complete meal filled with love.
