From the team that created the Drama Desk-nominated play The Voices in Your Head comes another singular work: Slanted Floors is an intimate play for five, set in a Brooklyn apartment and around a shared meal. Created by Billy McEntee and directed by Ryan Dobrin, the play will run this September and October. Casting will be announced soon, and more information is below:

Kaplan has a hard time separating the media he consumes, the gigs he works, and the ideas in his head. It’s all a stressful, funny dance, but his partner’s coming home to make a very nice dinner. You are invited to witness the surreal in the everyday of one freelancer’s work, share in the meal of two partners dining, dishing, and dreaming, and behold the un-remarkability of queer domesticity.

All funds raised through the 501c(3) not-for-profit Egg & Spoon are tax-deductible and directly go to funding the actors, director, and chefs making this new production possible.
