Hi, I’m Leann, a mom and lifelong caregiver to my amazing son, Brenan, who is 24 years old and a level 3 nonverbal autistic adult.

For years, we’ve searched for a sense of purpose for Brennan — something that would make him feel valued, capable, and fulfilled. But it hasn’t been easy. Traditional day programs don’t work for him. They remind him too much of school, which was a traumatic experience, and they simply don’t meet the needs of adults like him.

As a mom, watching your child struggle to find belonging and purpose breaks your heart. And as we’ve walked this road, I’ve realized our family isn’t alone. There are so many other families like ours — families with nonverbal or higher-support autistic kids and adults — who are desperate for a place that understands, accepts, and empowers them.

That’s why we created Bridges of Hope Farm Foundation — a sensory farm in Buckeye, Arizona, designed to help autistic adults and children find purpose, peace, and connection through animals and nature.

This isn’t just a farm.
It’s a place where:
🐐 Adults like Brenan can come to care for animals, learn responsibility, and feel proud of their work — even if it’s just for an hour or two a day.
🐇 Families can find connection, support, and understanding instead of isolation.
🐓 Children can experience the calm and joy that comes from interacting with animals in a safe, sensory-friendly environment.

We’ve already started building our dream — caring for animals, preparing enclosures, and setting up the land. But to open our gates and make this dream a reality for families like ours, we need your help.

🐷 Building and repairing animal pens
🥕 Providing food and fresh produce for our animals
🩺 Covering vet care and farm supplies
🌿 Creating sensory spaces and shaded areas for visitors
