Teen Centers: Meeting Needs, Building Futures

The impact of the Bank of Utah Championship will reach far beyond the course through a partnership with The Policy Project to support Utah’s Teen Centers—serving over 84,000 students statewide. These school-based hubs give kids a safe, welcoming place to access food, clothing, laundry, hygiene, and other supports so they can focus on learning.

Meeting today’s needs is only part of the equation. That’s why The Policy Project and Bank of Utah are launching a financial literacy and life skills program inside Teen Centers. Students will learn to budget, save, understand paychecks, avoid debt, and plan for college, housing, and careers.

Teen Centers remove immediate barriers to learning. Financial literacy adds a future-focused layer—helping students make better decisions, build self reliance, and step confidently into adulthood. By pairing the trusted reach of Teen Centers with the financial knowledge of Bank of Utah, we are preparing Utah students not just to get by, but to thrive.
