Please purcahse a seperate Retreat Ticket for each person attending so that we can obtain t-shirt size barn quilt enthusiast information for each person. 

This includes:

Wednesday - July 10th - 6:00 pm - Meet & Greet at Ashe County Park.  Check in for the retreat, recieve printed agenda and name tag.  A food truck will be serving burgers, chicken sandwich, salad and sides.  Meal is included for retreat participants.

Traveling companions are welcome to attend but are self pay for meal. 

Thursday - July 11th - 8:30 am - Retreat activites begin including speakers, presentations, workshops and breakout sessions.  Pastries, fresh fruit will be available in the am, coffee, tea, water and soft frinks will be available throughout the day.  Lunch will be catered by Smoky Mtn BBQ.  Please let us know if you have dietary special needs. 

July 11th - 6:30 pm - Group Dinner (included) - Monte D Rays in West Jefferson, NC.   Travel companions are welcome but will be self pay.  Please select travel companion ticket(s) so that we can have a head count for the resturant. (Seperate ticket listing)

Friday - July 12th - 8:30 am - Retreat activites cotinue including speakers, presentations, workshops and breakout sessions.  Pastries, fresh fruit will be available in the am, coffee, tea, water and soft frinks will be available throughout the day.  Lunch will be catered with a sub trays and fixings along with chips.  Please let us know if you have dietary special needs. 

Retreat concludes at 5:00 pm.

Come and enjoy a fun filled day painting a barn quilt with new found friends.  This is not a class and there will be no teaching.  Bring your own supplies or purchase there.

9:00am until 4:00pm at the Lost Province Cultural Arts Center in Lansing, NC. 

Shipping will be available or your barn quilt.  We will have boxes, pool noodles and packing demos available.  The retreat staff will handling shipping.  $40 Addtional Fee (Collected onsite)

Lunch will be on your own at local resturant or bring your own.  Bring your own snacks and drinks.

Join us for a relaxing float down the scenic New River, the 2nd oldest river in the world.  It is a tranquil smooth trip with little or no paddling needed.  The river is crystal clear and rarely over knee deep the whole route.  There are no rapids to nativigate and perfect for the first time kayaker or the experienced enthusiast.

We we will meet at 10:00 am at New River Outfitters and they will transport us up river for launching.  If you have your own kayak, you are welome to bring.  Box lunch will be included. 

We will float for 2 hours and get out at the New River State Park for lunch and bathroom breaks.  We will continue on to New River Outfitters.  Estimated total float will be 4.5 hours. 

Feel free to bring your own coolers and refreshments.  It is recommended to bring sunscreen, towel, water shoes and a change of clothes to leave in your vehicle to change into. Does not hurt to have a waterproof cell phone case and/or a drybox for keys, smokes, etc. 

Travel Companions welcome and purchase a ticket for each person joining us.  Double kayaks are not available.  Contact staff if you prefer a canoe for two.
