Ruthie Hanson, our resident Pampered Chef host extraordinaire, is helping us host a BINGO night and Pampered Chef fundraiser. Pampered Chef will donate 30% of all sales in our event to Blue Ridge Hope! Our goal is to raise at least $1,000!

Blue Ridge Hope is a nonprofit organization nestled in the foothills of western North Carolina, with a mission of connecting individuals with the tools they need to reach their emotional goals, reconcile personal loss, and develop health and wholeness. We strive to do so by offering mental health care for all, regardless of ability to pay by accepting many insurance plans as well as offering sliding scale pricing. We understand holistic mental and emotional wellness is only accessible within an equitable community, and we do our part to create that for Rutherford County, NC and surrounding areas.

Blue Ridge Hope aims to be a resource to meet the needs of individuals in Rutherford County and surrounding areas regarding their mental health and access to healthcare. Each client who comes through Blue Ridge Hope for services completes a sliding scale to measure their income, insurance status, and wellbeing as an initial intake. Blue Ridge Hope is unique in that they can offer their services for as little as $10 a session, to absolutely free. We believe that no one should be turned away because of their income, insurance status, or lack thereof. Health equity for the community at large lies at the core of our mission and heart. We aim to address the emotional and behavioral health issues of the community at large, but most importantly, for those who would have little to no access to much needed services otherwise.

Our organization also operates an after-school tutoring and mentorship program for at-risk youth. This program and our mental health program funded through donations, grant funding, and fundraising.
