For years, the Rabbis of BRS have been outspoken regarding, and at the forefront of defending and advocating for, the plight of Agunot. The Rabbis remain firmly committed to using all the tools at their disposal, from mobilizing the community for rallies and working diligently behind the scenes to resolve cases, to using the pulpit to promote Agunah awareness and consulting with leading Halachik deciders. The BRS Rabbis believe strongly that it’s the community’s responsibly to ensure that nobody remain chained in a marriage against their will. In addition, the BRS Rabbis, like many of their colleagues across the country, will not officiate at a wedding unless a Halachik Prenuptial Agreement has been signed, and they strongly encourage all of their members to sign this critical protective document prior to their wedding.

Our community in Boca Raton, Florida organized a local rally on March 16, 2021 for Devorah.  She has been an Agunah for several years. (https://www.getora.org/aaron-s...)

Our goal is to raise money to help all Agunot - both local and nationally.  Your contributions will help with legal fees, counseling, and general assistance for Agunot.
