The Irish American Baseball Society (IABS) is a non-profit subsidiary of the Baseball United Foundation. IABS celebrates the Irish impact on baseball history and we support Baseball United's efforts to establish and support youth baseball programs in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Baseball United has been working in Ireland for 15 years. This year, over 500 boys and girls were introduced to baseball in their Northern Ireland Baseball Project. With your generous support, Baseball United can continue to provide equipment, coaching, and financial support for baseball programs in Ireland and throughout the world.

Story
Baseball provides endless opportunities for learning and growth. It teaches children the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and integrity while building self-esteem and promoting healthy choices through exercise and competition.
Yet, many youth baseball programs — in America and throughout the world — struggle for a variety of reasons, from a lack of equipment and experienced coaches to insufficient funding and facilities.
Baseball United works to help these teams, leagues, and organizations, by sharing resources, experience, and best practices, so more children can play baseball. Federal Tax ID: 20-4623222

Northern Ireland Baseball Project
We've been working to support the growth of youth baseball programs in Ireland and Northern Ireland for over 15 years. In 2021, we launched our "Northern Ireland Baseball Project" - a program to introduce the sport of baseball into primary schools in Northern Ireland. In 2021, over 500 boys and girls have tried baseball for the first time in their physical education classes! We use a variety of methods to introduce baseball, ranging from kickball games to training aids that make learning baseball skills fun!
Share Baseball Around the World Program
Our Share Baseball Around the World Program brings the stories of youth baseball teams to a US audience. In 2020, we worked to raise funds on behalf of teams and leagues in Belize, Bhutan, Colombia, and Nigeria!
Small Ball: Baseball For Beginners
Our flagship US-based program is called Small Ball. The Small Ball program teaches baseball to ages 4, 5, and 6 in a way that teaches kids how to play the game while developing the sport-specific skills of fielding, hitting, and throwing.
