🌿 Powered By Initiatives (Capacity Building)

These partnerships allow BWA to support smaller community groups by providing structure, resources, and administrative power. Through this initiative, we help other organizations grow, thrive, and reach more people—extending our impact far beyond our own events.

✨ Elevate Brunch (Empowerment)

Our annual signature brunch brings together community members for inspiration, storytelling, and connection. Elevate: Rooted in Purpose, Rising in Power creates a space for women to be seen, celebrated, and empowered to lead with confidence and purpose.

🌄 Annual Retreat (Empowerment)

Every year, BWA hosts a wellness and adventure retreat that allows Black women to rest, reset, and reconnect with themselves and nature. These retreats provide transformational healing experiences, mental and emotional wellness support, and unforgettable sisterhood.

💼 Iron Sharpens Iron (Business Empowerment)

This workshop series is designed for women entrepreneurs and professionals looking to grow, collaborate, and elevate. We bring women together to share strategies, expand networks, and develop tools for success—because when one of us shines, we all shine.

🏥 Health & Wellness Conference (Educational)

Launching in 2026, this conference will equip women with vital information, resources, and tools to prioritize their physical, mental, emotional, and financial health. It's a day of learning, healing, and empowerment with community leaders and industry experts.

🌞 Camp Sunnie Skies (Youth)

Camp Sunnie Skies brings joy, exploration, and emotional well-being to children and young adults through outdoor adventures, mentorship, and positive experiences. We believe supporting youth creates ripples of strength and healing that will impact generations.

👑 Ambassadors Program (Leadership Development)

Our Ambassadors are the heart of BWA—leaders who help expand our reach, foster community, and represent our vision. This program builds leadership, confidence, and advocacy skills, creating a network of women dedicated to collective uplift.
