Kathryn Freeburn is a conductor and musician from Hockessin, Delaware. She received her B.A. in Music from George Mason University where she furthered her passion for conducting. This lead her to The Catholic University of America, where she received both her M.M. and D.M.A. in Orchestral Conducting, studying under the tutelage of Murry Sidlin. During her time there, she worked on numerous operas as both Music Director and Assistant Conductor and performed works with both the CUA Symphony Orchestra and the CUA Wind Ensemble. She continues her passion by teaching music lessons, daily score study, and attending conducting masterclasses and workshops.
She is fundraising to help cover some of the costs in attending the Cascade Conducting Orchestral Class as a Full Participant.
