🐾 Welcome Our Newest Kitty Intake: Crispy Bacon! 🐾

Everyone, meet Bacon (full name Crispy Bacon—yes, we’re in love with the name too)! This sweet boy is about 1 year old and found his way into a kind young lady's home after she moved into her new house. It seems he was most likely dumped by a neighbor or the previous homeowner.

Bacon is understandably wary of the outdoors, but he’s incredibly sweet and grateful for the warmth and safety he’s found. Unfortunately, his condition tells us he’s been through a lot. He’s unneutered, not microchipped, and has a wound at the tip of his tail. The injury appears to be self-inflicted due to his tail being completely limp and unresponsive. Sadly, the tail is no longer viable, as there are no nerve endings left.

💔 What Bacon Needs:

Bacon’s tail will need to be amputated to ensure he’s not at risk for infection or further complications. He has his first appointment with Coldwater Animal Hospital tomorrow, and we’ll be scheduling his surgery soon after.
