1. Where are you from and why did you move to Charlotte? I moved from Montville, Connecticut to Charlotte three years ago after receiving a job offer from my former workplace, Black Wednesday. (Shoutout to one of the coolest marketing agencies around!)
2. What's your favorite thing about Charlotte? The people! There's so much creativity and diversity, and such a passion for supporting local. The community in Queen City is truly something special!
3. What motivates you to give back? My mom used to be a homeless teen in New York City...Today, she has a PhD and is the most kind, inspiring, successful person I know. She has always said, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the people that stopped to help me along the way." Because of that, volunteering and fundraising has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I want to continue helping others, the same way people helped her.
4. What's your fundraising goal? I'm hoping to raise at least $5,000, although this is just 30% of the estimated yearly cost to raise a single child in NC... The more we raise, the better!
